A Private Promise for Pebble Mill.
In October 2010, a scheme was approved to add to the medical care in Birmingham and seven years later, here we are, in the offset of construction. A £32 million private hospital, named Circle Birmingham, shall be finished by the end of 2018 with the funding of Medical Properties Trust, a US investors firm. The care and facilities it will provide is immensely reassuring.
What will it offer?
There are said to be three operating theatres which will be expandable into six, meaning multiple procedures could be undergoing at the same time. What’s more, there is to be an endoscopy room which is specifically for procedures performed with endoscopes (when cameras are used to visualise structures within the body).
Besides all these fantastic medical destinations, there are going to be 18 in-patient bedrooms available along with a significant number of rehabilitation beds; the rehabilitation beds are for patients suffering with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. There are also going to be other facilities for rehabilitation to help patients recuperate after operations and to get them back to their normal selves.
Other than this new addition to Pebble Mill, there are other care facilities that make the area an attractive place to visit if you seek help. For example, there is currently a 62-bed private care home being built. There is also the Dental Hospital near to the School of Dentistry – the area is probably full of people with pearly whites and dashing grins.
